Breakfast Club & After-School Club
We have a breakfast club which runs every week day during school term time. It starts at 7:30 am and is run by two members of staff who offer a range of activities for the children to do participate in each day. Breakfast is provided by the school cook.
We also have links to two local after-school clubs. Barnwood Buddies who collect the children after school and walk them to St Nicholas Family Centre and Wild About Play based at Ridgewood and they are transported there by the staff.
School Meals
Our nutritious meals are prepared on site by South Gloucestershire catering department and are very popular with pupils and staff alike. Hot meals are available daily but children can bring in packed lunches if they prefer.
Houses
All children are assigned to one of four houses: Rowen, Oak, Hawthorn or Maple. At the beginning of each year the children vote for a boy and a girl to act as a house captain and lead their house. Throughout the year children compete against other houses in a range of academic and sporting activities such as sports day, football tournaments, spelling and maths competitions. Children also receive points for their houses to reward good manners, behaviour and work.
