Admission to school for Reception year is dealt with by South Gloucestershire Council.  Families resident in South Gloucestershire must complete the Common Application Form available from South Gloucestershire Council or online via the Council's website.  You can find out more about the arrangements and how to apply on their website.  The year before your child is due to start school we organise several open sessions for you to have a look round the school.  Our website will be updated in mid-September with the dates we have available.
Starting full-time education
At present children may come into school in the September following their 4th birthday.  They must be four at the beginning of the Autumn Term.  Legally, children must attend school the term after their 5th birthday.

Visits are arranged during the Summer Term for new Foundation Stage children and parents/carers to meet the teaching staff.  Meetings and home visits are also arranged for parents/carers to tell us about their child and ask questions.  The children come in gradually at the start of term to give them the best start.
Applying for a place once your child has already started full-time education

If you wish to apply for a place at the school once your child has already started full-time educaiton, the South Gloucestershire website also includes the form to apply for an in-school place.  It is advisable to contact the school first to check if we have any spaces in the class you wish to apply for.
