Our fantastic grounds
We have invested heavily in our grounds to provide a fantastic outdoor learning space. We have a several sandpits, a water feature, a pond, an outdoor classroom, a amphitheatre, musical instruments, a small stage and various other structures to encourage imaginative play. We have all-weather children and have provided boot boxes where children can store their outdoor shoes and boots. Willow huts were planted by the pupils who came up with the ideas for the project. We have plenty of picnic tables and space for football, ball games and netball. We have a fantastic playpod which is filled regularly with items from the scrap store which the children can utilise during the lunchbreak. As a result we have been awarded the Platinum Outdoor Play and Learning Award. Children in Reception class have their own playground with a water feature, beams, stepping stones, staging, sandpit, playhouse and sun canopy.
